“I have this unit, the bottom piece inside came off, I placed it back down and stared a new load, was curious what would cause this to come off like that? And should it need fixed or by putting the agitator back in place fixed the problem?”

You probably ought to report it before the warranty expires just in case there is an on going problem.

Your washer is designed with an Infusor rather than an agitator in the wash basket. If it has fallen off, an Infusor can be easily replaced; however, we will need more information to determine which bottom piece may have fallen off.
