“I read that the dryer should have about twice the capacity of the washer. Since the washer is 2.8, this means the dryer should be 5.6. This dryer is only 3.6. Does this mean it is too small a dryer for this washer?”

Hi - Thanks for viewing GE! The matching dryer DSKP333ECWW (3.6 cu.ft.) accommodates the load from washer GNW128SSMWW. While dryer capacities are larger than the matching washer, they are not necessarily twice the capacity. For example our full size washer Model GTW460ASJWW (4.2 cu. ft.) is paired with matching Dryer Models GTD42EASJWW (7.2 cu. ft.) and GTX42EASJWW (6.2 cu.ft. ).
