Hi GEE - This range has both Bake and Broil cooking modes. It has an upper heating element for broiling and to assist with top browning during bake. It has a 13,000 BTU Bake unit. Also, if necessary, you can adjust the thermostat by simply pulling the Oven Temp knob off the range and adjusting the screws.
