While the handle on the first picture makes it seems like it's a drawer-style freezer, this unit has a door-style freezer that opens with the horizontal handle. This freezer compartment will come with a wire rack and a basket, compared to only having baskets in a freezer drawer. • A:Answer This is a great question - thanks so much for reaching out! The full-width wire shelf in the freezer is not intended to slide. However, it can be removed for cleaning purposes.
