Hi LC - Thanks for viewing GE! We do not rate the sound level of our refrigerators or freezers, which means we are unable to provide a decibel level while they are running. When the surrounding noise level is low you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound from the high efficiency compressor while it is operating. Room acoustics can affect the normal operating sounds that you may hear. Also, the white refrigerator doors are magnetic. It is compatible with optional Icemakers IM4D and IM4LED.
