Q: QuestionHow much ice is made/accessible? Could I fill an ice bucket or gallon size ziplock or just a glass? AND can it be hooked up to my reverse osmosis line instead of using a water filter?

• A:Answer The icemaker is designed to make approximately 7 cubes every 70-80 minutes depending on usage. The ice bin will hold approximately 3.6 lbs. We recommend checking with the manufacturer of your reverse osmosis for their suggestions on connecting to the icemaker in this refrigerator. If you do connect the icemaker to your reverse osmosis system, you will need to install the bypass filter plug. You may call GE Appliances at 1-800-432-2737 with your complete model and serial number to request one free of charge. -Vikki@GEAppliances

Q: QuestionWith the ice and water in the door, how loud is the icemaker? The icemaker in my Frigedaire refrigerator that I currently own is VERY LOU when it makes ice.

• A:Answer We don't rate the sound level of our refrigerators or freezers. The icemaker will make noise when cubes are dropped into the ice storage bucket. A hum or click can be heard when the icemaker fills with water. This sound may be heard once or multiple times. -Don@GEAppliances

• A:Answer This lovely refrigerator measures 44 5/8" wide with the doors open 90°. At 90°, you will have access to the items in the bins, but will not be able to remove them for cleaning. To open the doors fully, you will need a minimum of 19 1/8" clearance.

• A:Answer Yes, this model can hold a magnet. However, we strongly advise not to use magnets on Fingerprint Resistant Slate finished doors because the magnet can damage the finish.

• A:Answer It has a turbo freeze option that works very quickly - not flash-freeze, but pretty fast. Of course, it depends on what you're freezing and how much. You'll freeze a gallon of water faster than a 7-lb piece of beef, but you'll freeze a single gallon of water faster than 7 gallons. Once it's loaded with items already at freezing, another single item at room temp will freeze very quickly.
