• I'm able to put a one quart measuring cup into the opening - it's pretty wide. And for both the crushed and cubed ice, you'll want to put the container right up to the opening chute otherwise ice will spatter out around the top of your container and end up flying all over the floor. You'll get it right in a few tries.
