• Not very intrusive to the unit so it’s fine can’t even notice it

• Hey, It's perfectly understandable that not everyone wishes to use the water dispenser. You do not have to install the water line when installing the refrigerator. We do not recommend removing any parts of the refrigerator or making any modifications as it could void your warranty. Let us know if you have any other questions. Mike@GEA
