Hello - thanks for asking this great question! This is a standard clean model, so that means the interior is made of a smooth, porcelain-enamel-on-steel liner, with shelf supports embossed in liner material. This smooth surface liner makes cleaning easy and the liner also reflects heat away from the surface to help prevent spill-overs from baking on. Additionally, with proper care, the porcelain enamel finish on the inside of the oven will stay new-looking for years. Be sure to let the oven cool before cleaning, and we also recommend wearing rubber gloves when cleaning the oven. Soap and water will normally do the job, though heavy spattering or spillovers may require cleaning with a mild abrasive cleaner.
