This is the same problem we had when our new dishwasher arrived. As far as I know the top cannot be removed and the only way to estimate when the cycle is finished is by counting down the time of the specific cycle you began it on. (In the beginning the time is shown when you press the button for the specific cycle you want) There is a very faint beep at the end of the cycle to alert you that the cycle is complete however you cannot hear it if you are not near the appliance. Disappointed with this and definitely a feature that should have been perfected with this model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry I can’t help because that is exactly the question I have about the machine. Can anyone else help?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good day, We certainly understand how annoying it is to not know how much time is left on your wash cycle and do apologize for the inconvenience. There is no way to remove the top. This dishwasher does have WiFi capabilities (requires part PBX23W00Y0) so it can connect to devices such as Alexa and Google Home and you can get the remaining time through those. Thanks for reaching out today! Stay well. Mike@GEA
