“Why do you have to open the door for the dishes to dry? Thought it had condensation drying. Never mentioned in description that you have to open door.”

Hi Joseph - Thank you for reaching out to us. The suggestion to open the door is offered if you are finding the dishes are not drying naturally with the condensate dry feature. We would recommend making sure the water coming into the dishwasher is a minimum of 120 degrees F. You may also try using the Wash Heat Boost option to further increase the temperature of the water in the unit. The hotter the water the greater chance it will evaporate off the dishes.
