• A:Answer Hi Joseph - Thank you for reaching out to us. The suggestion to open the door is offered if you are finding the dishes are not drying naturally with the condensate dry feature. We would recommend making sure the water coming into the dishwasher is a minimum of 120 degrees F. You may also try using the Wash Heat Boost option to further increase the temperature of the water in the unit. The hotter the water the greater chance it will evaporate off the dishes. Q: QuestionWhy does my soap look like this more often than not after a wash cycle? I made sure nothing was blocking the dispenser and still I’ve gotten this more than clean dishes. Waste of water, soap and time. So frustrating!

To troubleshoot, use high quality detergents such as Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent. You can also make sure inlet water temperature is correct. Turn on the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher, let run until the water temperature stops rising. Then start the dishwasher and turn off the faucet. This ensures the entering water is hot. Select Wash Temp - Boost. If this does not help, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. • A:Answer Hi - This model dishwasher offers our energy saving Condensate Dry system. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in the warm humid environment inside the dishwasher. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process. You can also increase the evaporation of the moisture from the dishes by ensuring you have a minimum of 120 degree F water coming into the unit and selecting the Wash Heat Boost option. This option selection will increase the water temperature which also helps the natural evaporation of the moisture from the dishes and interior of the unit. We hope you find this helpful. Vikki@GEA
