• Hi there, thank you for reaching out with this excellent question. The compressor is located in the rear machine compartment and does have a fan. It is considered part of the sealed system of this refrigerator, and we do not recommend trying to access it without one of our authorized technicians. Attempting to do so could void your warranty. We also recommend 1/8" of air clearance around the sides of the refrigerator.
