QuestionWhen the compressor turns on, the fridge emits a very high pitched whistle, almost like some blowing a dog whistle. GE tech came and said “it’s normal”, but it’s definitely not. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Questionis the depth size pretty accurate ? I only can bring in one with a depth of 28 3/4, or less... this one says its 28 1/4 without door and handles. Just wanted to make sure your numbers are pretty accurate

- Answer Hi - Thanks for considering GE Model GSS25IMNES! Height to top of door trim is 70 1/8 in. Height to top of hinge is 69 1/2 in. Height to top of case is 69 in. This is minimum height and cannot be lowered. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com for all your appliance needs! Sue
