QuestionHow do you attach the shelves inside the doors

- Answer The shelves slide in easily. There is a plastic tab on the right. Press it down slightly if necessary when the shelf is going in. Release the tab after the shelf is in place. It keeps the shelf from falling out if pulled forward. Press the tab down again when removing the shelf for cleaning.

QuestionIs there a light in the freezer compartment as well as the fridge side? The one we have now in the garage is only lit in the fridge portion (and the freezer has failed)

- Answer Hey there, great question! Yes, you may be pleased to know this does have a door alarm. To set the alarm, press this pad until the indicator light comes on. This alarm will sound if either door is open for more than 3 minutes and the light goes out and the beeping stops when you close the door. - Answer Check with store. My white 25.3 cubic side-by-side does NOT have a deli meat drawer - wish it did. Otherwise happy with purchase. I may buy some plastic bins for shelf to keep meats and cheese organized in one place. Really like the white color and almost retro design, bright interior lights, style, and works great so far. Bought a GE as it is an American brand and good chance for reliabilty. Was tired of stainless fingerprints and french door style from previous other maker's frig. Y.

QuestionU just purchased refrigerator above Ge 25.1 GSS251YNFS. my outlet for refrigerator 220 volt. it is compatible with the refrigerator i bought?

- Answer 220V in USA? I never seen 220V outlets here in USA and don't think this refrigerator is made for 220V since I bought it here in US. I checked the user manual and strangely it does not specify the voltage for the refrigerator. First time seeing a user manual for an elecrical appliance not specifying voltage!! Also I have issue with the side by side doors not aligning properly. It seems to be a manufacturing fault as bet buy installers have tried to fix it twice but the refrigertor door ends up slipping lower than the freezer door. I have asked for a replacement.

QuestionWhat is the coldest temp the freezer and frig can be set, and is there a "quick freeze/cool" feature? Also, is it true water filters cost $50 and if not changed every 6 months it will not allow water to be dispensed until new filter installed?

- Answer The filters are not that expensive and the change frequency is based on use not days used. The default freezer temp is 0'F. I imagine it could easily hit -20. No quick-freeze feature but I'm not sure you need it.

QuestionDoes this refrigerator have gallon door storage? Also, does it come with a filter bypass button? I want the option of using water and ice without a filter.

QuestionWhat metal is used on the sides of this refrigerator? Is it painted and do you sell touch-up paint? The instructions say to use soap and water to clean the fingerprint resistant stainless steel. Do you mean like a bar of Ivory or a liquid like Dawn?

- Answer Our model is stainless steal. It is fingerprint resistant and stays nice and clean when used. Also - Magnets will not stick to some stainless appliances. This is not one of them.
