Our refrigerators continue to be manufactured with as quiet an operation as possible. We understand the kitchen is a popular gathering place. The new high efficiency compressor may run faster and longer than your old refrigerator and you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. The type of installation (built-in or freestanding), floor type (wood, tile) and room acoustics can all affect the normal operating sounds that you may hear. We'd love to have you in the family.
