The filter only lasts so long. My old unit would go to 99 days and stay there until I replaced the filter. But it still worked fine. Just bothersome looking at it. My only complaint is the cost of the filters. Check with Amazon.com to see if they have a after market filter vs name brand filter. But yes, it's replacement time. Fyi
