Hi Litta1205- Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE! The display shows the Set temperatures and not the actual internal temperatures. Checking or testing the internal fresh food and freezer temperature can be done with a bulb type or candy thermometer that is capable of reading below zero temperatures.
