Model APMS06BWF does not have to have a drain attached. The air conditioner uses auto evaporation technology to evaporate water the unit collects, so under most room conditions draining excess water won't be necessary. There is an internal tank to collect water as needed, and the draining process simply involves disconnecting power, placing a container below the lower drain on the back, removing the cap and rubber plug and allowing the tank to drain, then reinserting the plug, screwing the cap back into place and reconnecting power. There's also a drain port you can connect a drain hose to if you wish to use Dry Mode to dehumidify for a longer period.
