The air filter behind the front grille should be checked and cleaned at least every 30 days or more often if necessary. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it. Do not clean the filter in a dishwasher. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When you look at the unit, on the Left side (opposite the electronic display) there is a thin up and down door with an indent for a finger. It might be a little snug, but the filter pops out of there. Easy to inspect, vacuum, rinse- your choice. It slides right back in when done.
