“Can this unit be used in an ac sleeve?”

• A through-the-wall sleeve cannot be used to convert window air conditioners with side louvers for through the wall use. The vents on the unit are intended to be unobstructed. Any obstruction of the vents on the side of our unit can prevent airflow from properly cooling the compressor and fan. This will decrease the life of the compressor and fan as well as affecting the cooling performance. Even a sleeve with vents on the sides will reduce airflow.
