• A:Answer Hello - we checked the information for this unit, and we can confirm that this trim kit is only designed to work with our microwave models starting with #PEB9159. The model you listed is the Slate version of this unit, but you can also find the following versions: *PEB9159SJSS (Stainless Steel) | *PEB9159DJBB (Black) | *PEB9159DJWW (White). -- Please do keep in mind that these colors wouldn't be the same finish as your trim kit (Slate), and they would not match. -- Please know you can always reach out to us on social media if any other questions or concerns come up. Q: QuestionWhat are all of the dimensions for the GE Trim Kit Model JX9152SJSS that you recommend for the GE Countertop Convection/Microwave Oven (Model PEB9159SJSS). Inside dimension of my cabinet is 17 inches. Looks like it requires 19 1/8 inches. Is that correct?

Q: QuestionWhat are the dimensions for this trim kit? I am trying to find a microwave & trim kit that fits on a cabinet with a cutout opening of 24 5/8"w x 14" h and the cabinet itself is 26 1/8" w x 16 11/16"h - available top overlap is only 1/2" & 3/4" each side

• A:Answer Hey there, great question! This trim kit's interior dimensions of frame opening are approximately 22.8" W x 12.3" H. The depth (thickness) of the trim kit is about 1.2". A built-in capable countertop microwave will list the 27" and 30" trim kit for that model in the product specifications. The only difference between the 27" and 30" trim kit is the trim frame. If the microwave is installed over a 27" or 30" wall oven, be sure to match the trim kit width to the wall oven. Thanks for checking. Let us know if any other questions come up. -Mikayla@GEA

• A:Answer Hello- Thank you for your question. This model is a countertop model only. It can't be built in with a trim kit. The reason is because it will bind in the corner in the hinge side. We recommend PEB7227ANDD. It doesn't come in Slate, but when paired with the Slate trim kit it JX7227ESES or JX7230ELES. Model JES1657SMSS is actually a countertop microwave specifically, and was not designed to be built-in; we do regret any inconvenience that causes. We have several microwaves that are able to be converted to built-in with use of a trim kit, however; if you search your dealer website or our GE website with the term 'built-in microwave', you will be able to view the options that are compatible with a trim kit.
