Is stainless steel finish smudge proof? null

But that model, GNE27JYMFS, does not have the built-in ice maker. Also, I wanted to order the GNE27JSMSS but it's listed as discontinued at most retail outlets, but oddly not on the GE website. I was still able to order one on Best Buy on 5/18/20.

I think it is. At least it’s a lot better than our previous refrigerator

It’s not completely smudge proof but it cleans up nicely with stainless wipes.
