“My GE GFE28GSKSS fridge has stopped making ice. The unit is only 6 months old. The water works fine. The ice tray and cube maker are empty and all parts appear to move freely. Any ideas?”

Hi Chris - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE! It sounds as though the icemaker was inadvertently turned off. Press "Icemaker" on the control panel to activate the icemaker. Options include: Ice Top On/Off- Ice Bottom On/Off (This model has an option for 2nd Icemaker IM5D in the freezer (sold separately).
