They’ll remove the house door
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our remodeling contractor installed it. Getting it through the doorway was tight, even after the crew removed everything that could be removed. This includes its handles and doors, as well as some of the framing in the doorway. (They had to update some of the moulding anyway because we removed the door that was there, leaving the doorway open between the kitchen and dining room.)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but they didn't need to. They were able to maneuver quite professionally through the doorways.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My installers removed the doors from both my old refrigerator and the new one. They did this on their own and without any prompting from me. It seemed to me like they normally remove the doors on the refrigerators they install. I think they do so more so to reduce the weight for when they moved the appliances than because of getting through doors. If door width is an issue for you, it seems like the installers should be able to remove the doors to get the new unit set up where you need it to go. Your experience with your installers (outside of NE Iowa) may vary.
