Is this unit loud? null

No not at all. The only noise we hear from this is when the newly made ice falls to the ice holder

When the fan motor turns on it is noticeable if you're in the kitchen, but it's not loud. I have an open concept area & I don't notice it. Company/family has not said anything about the noise either.

Yes, the ice maker makes noises louder than my previous refrigerator, but I have gotten use to it. All of the other features and the space makes up for it. I am very happy with my decision and wouldn't change it.

Not at all compared to other units. There is some additional noise from the air/air chiller in.m the door for the ice maker, but it is infrequent and about as loud as a normal fridge.
