Hello- Thanks so much for your question. We appreciate your loyalty to our brand and are happy to help! The cutout dimensions are slightly different, so you will need to make some minor modifications to the cutout. The cabinet cut-out opening for the JKP40GK1WG is: 49 5/8" H X 24 3/4" W X 24" D. The cabinet cut-out opening for the JKD5000SNSS is: 50 1/8" H X 25-1/4" W X 23-1/2" D. We hope this helps! Thank you! Joyce@GEA

Yes, it should fit. There may need to be some minor adjustments, but the installation crew handled that perfectly..
