“Older (20+ yrs), GE double-wall built-in oven; top oven stopped working, bottom one works fine. Can JUST the top oven be replaced with a newer model of the same size? Will the controls of the newer upper oven work on the older bottom oven? Thanks.”

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Double ovens are designed as one model and are wired together. You cannot replace just one of the ovens. You would need to replace the entire double oven.
