A:AnswerMy old GE oven was 27 inches wide, too. Had to adjust the sides 1/8th inch and move the shelf up one inch to fit in the same cabinet. GE fit guarrantee would help if you have to make adjustments.

For single and double wall ovens, the vent is below the door to keep electronics cooler, improve appearance, and provide a better door seal at the top. Both of these ovens are self-cleaning.
