It has a hidden backlit LCD control, 1 Self-Clean Roller Rack, Temperature Probe and 2 Halogen Interior Oven Lights (Both Ovens). Also, JKD5000SNSS is a 27" Double Oven (4.3 Upper / 4.3 Lower) and JTD5000SNSS is a 30" Double Oven (5.0 Upper / 5.0 Lower). Q: QuestionThe measurement across the width of the front of my current double wall oven is 26 1/2 inches. Would it be too difficult to refit the cabinet space?

• A:Answer I think you are referring to the measurement of the “top ring” or the part of the oven outside the cabinet. In my case, the “top ring” or outside of my old oven was 26”. However, the “cut-out left to right width” was 24.50 inches. So the cabinet had to be cut 0.75” larger to accommodate the new 27” GE Electric Wall Oven (25.25”). In other words, 0.375” on each side so the oven remains centered in the cabinet after installation. A good installer would have no problem increasing the cut-out, if you have enough cabinet to cut. Be sure to pay attention to the “cut-out left to right width” of you new oven and the “width of the cabinet opening.” Don’t forget the “cut-out front to back depth” and the “ cut-out height” when measuring for proper fit.

Q: Questionwe have a GE model JKP27WoV1WW that we are looking to replace with this model. Like others we need to know if it will fit in the current enclosure we have. I've seen the PDF but I am not at the installation location before the sale expires to verify.

• A:Answer I can tell you that we had to move a shelf up 1 inch and take off 1/8th inch on each side to make it work. If you have to have the cabinet altered GE has a guarrantee where you can get reimbursed for the remodel. I think it is $300. and it has to do with GE products. Ask your salesperson about it.

Q: Questionare both ovens self-cleaning?

• A:Answer Hi bjm, thanks for your question! Some double wall ovens have separate control pads labeled Upper Oven and Lower Oven. These control pads designate which oven to use. When cleaning the ovens, pressing the Self Clean or Steam Clean pad by itself will default to the upper oven. Press the start pad to begin the function in the upper oven. - Both ovens can be set at the same time for a clean cycle. The last oven set will automatically delay its start until the end of the first oven's clean cycle. This is true for both Self Clean and Steam Clean functions. We hope that this helps!
