I’ve attached an image from the installation manual for wall opening, but there are additional requirements. I believe your cutout height of 27 3/8” you can get away with barely, but no guarantee. I believe I had a similar dimension. Depth is as stated, and electrical conduit must be on the right, but I think the junction box can be lower if it’s within 8” of the right side as there’s less depth on the right side (from memory only if not at all way to the bottom). See photo for width from manual. Hope that helps.
