Hi CJC- Yes, you can turn on the oven light to view your food cooking without opening the door. The "Oven Light" switch (touch pad) is located on the control panel. Thanks for considering GE. Keep in touch! SUEatGEA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is an oven light that you can turn on with a button. This does allow you to see the food. But if you need to check browning (cookies, etc), you may still need to open the door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there is a light you can turn on from the outside. The only 2 things I don't like about my new oven are 1. It seems to take a long time to heat up compared to my old oven and 2. The shelves are hard to get in and out. But we bought this at a Best Buy outlet and saved hundreds. If you have an outlet near you go there. Good luck!
