Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. When you select "Bake" and then enter temperature, ie. 350 degrees, it starts heating and keeps you updated as to the temperature. Once it reaches, for instance 350, it loudly beeps. Then you put your food into the oven, shut the door and select "cook" and then time, ie, 35 minutes, "start" and that is it. When 35 minutes has passed, it beeps to let you know it is done. The only thing I don't like so far, is the panel isn't lit up, except for the actual time, so I have to turn on the kitchen lights to get started, to see the buttons. I bought a little portable, stick-on light that I just touch and it lights up the area for me. I am happy so far. It is very nice looking. I replaced a 1984 oven, so I feel very happy to have such a nice oven to look at and use. Good luck!
