My old wall oven was about that old, & I only measured the top to bottom case. The installation team did an excellent job of fitting the new unit in my space. I had extra space so we had to leave a gap at the bottom, which I can use for cookbooks, baking trays, etc. I will have a handyman help with the wood that they use to fill the gaps.
