The required cutout depth is 23-1/2" minimum. The difference in total depth includes the handle measurements. You can view more details by checking out the dimensions on the quick specification sheet. This can be found by clicking on the Features tab then scrolling down the page on the right, then clicking on the link under product datasheet.
