“We currently have a GE 27" drop-in range. I'm not sure of the model number but the installation book we have shows models JMS08GR, JMS10GR, JMP28GR, JMP29GR, MP31WR, JMP32AR. It was purchased and installed in October 1994. Will this range be the same?”

Hello there - It's difficult to compare this model and your current model without the full model number. The model number of your drop-in range can be located in several different places: behind the front door (on the front frame); under the left front surface unit (electric coil only); centered or on the right side, under the cooktop (life-up styles); on the left leg behind the drawer or kick panel; on the front frame, inside the drawer.
