Hello. We appreciate your interest in this electric dryer, and certainly understand how important the lint trap would be. This dryer has a standard lint trap that works well for its needs; we do recommend that the lint filter be cleaned before each use. To do so you simply need to slide out the grid that covers the filter. The lint filter can be washed if there is any waxy buildup from using fabric softener sheets, and the unit should not be operated without both the lint filter and grid in place. More details, including a diagram of its location, are available in the manual. If you need to review the lint filter further, you can do so with its part number, which is WE18M20. We are happy to assist, here or over social media, if you have any other questions or concerns. Best wishes! -Sarah@GEA
