“Can you please tell me how deep the wash drum is on this machine (from the inside)? My current washing machine has a 19 inch inside depth on the drum (which I like) but newer machines all seem to be very deep if they have an agitator, why?”

Hello Whychange, I am happy to help. The depth of the GTW330 basket (tub) is about the same; approximately 19”. With the overall trend towards larger washer capacities, the baskets (tubs) must get deeper in order for the overall width of the washer to remain 27” so that the washer fits within the majority of current installation spaces.
