Hi Morina - Thanks for getting back to us. We provide the average water usage only. The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. If you feel your washer is not filling properly, see the following link- TOP LOAD WASHER - FILL FUNCTION: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=36353 - SCHEDULE SERVICE at GEAppliances.com: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm?ICID=GEARsupportflyout-service - Keep in touch!
