“Delicate Cycle I am attempting to choose between 2 GE machines and am trying to compare the Light cycle on another machine to the delicate cycle on this one. Does the Delicate cycle on this machine (GHWN425DWW) "agitate" less often/ provide fewer strokes per minute, or move at a slower speed than the other cycles on this machine? Is the spin slower on Delicate than on the other cycles? If a GE tech could give me some numbers, that would be a real bonus ..... Thanks ~~”

They are pretty much the same operation. Only their labeling is different from a manufacturer to another.

The "Delicates" cycle provides an extra gentle wash and a low speed spin. The agitator will move slower in this cycle than other cycles. The "Hand Wash" cycle provides slow agitation and an extra slow speed spin cycle. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not a GE Tech but I do have the machine. The delicate cycle will agitate slower and the spin cycle is just like the other spin cycles. This machine also has a hand wash cycle for your really precious items. It will agitate really slow during that cycle and the spin cycle is the same as the others. Good luck with your decision.
