According to the manual the different modes produce different agitation movement. I don't think they increase speed but they do change the pattern and duration. I think agitating any faster could result in clothes getting stuck or twisted unnecessarily. For me, I set everything to "whites" mode and it does the best as a general setting - good agitation and faster spin speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. Your new GE washer has the hydrowave wash system. The hydrowave wash system makes a longer 360 degree stroke and operates in both directions. This allows the clothing to travel longer in the water instead of short aggressive strokes. The longer travel helps to improve the turnover of clothing and gentle cleaning helps prevent fabric wear and color fading. The smoothness of the HydroWave wash system is also much quieter. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If there are no people around, throwing it out the window would be a good idea..Will be buying a new machine and hopefully it will work properly and NOT have the water saver. Whoever came up with that idea would make a good torturer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO WAY. It has the computer pre-programed this way. Enjoy it as it is, otherwise you would go crazy. I don't like it either at all.
