Hi Belen- Our ranges and wall ovens meet all standards set by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL). UL evaluates external temperature limitations for ranges. The oven will not get "hot" during use. Oven windows are made of glass that has gone through a coating process to make it stand up to the high temperatures to which it will be subjected. The coating is actually somewhat metallic and helps to reflect heat back into the oven, and aids in keeping the door cool. Wall ovens do not vent to the outside. The oven vent is located below the door so this air can be warm. Keep in touch! Sue
