• A:Answer GE offers warranty for one year. Their customer service for warranties is amazing, they come out for free and if it's an issue on their part (shipping, defects, etc) they'll replace no questions asked, zero payments - it's why we continue to use this company.

Q: QuestionI own a GE 30-in Self-Cleaning Single Electric Wall Oven; Model #JTS3000SNSS. My oven made the sound when a button is pushed or it's finished pre-heating with the oven off.

• A:Answer Greetings, This is a great question to ask! Ovens come equipped with a 40” or 54” long conduit (armored flex cable) to "hard wire" the appliance in. As of 2020, all 30” and 27” wall oven conduits are 48” long now. You will need to check the serial number to determine when the oven was manufactured. • A:Answer In order to meet NEC requirements this oven can only be installed hard wired to an approved electrical box. If installed as per instructions the wiring (in flex conduit) will reach the connection box if the box is installed near the top of the installation space on the right side.

Q: QuestionHave had this GE wall oven for 5 years. Has anybody had problems with oven holding temperature? I have noticed that my baking is taking longer and longer to cook and when I have to increase temperature it can be more than 50 degrees lower than set.

• A:Answer Hi - we're happy to assist with this concern regarding your wall oven! There are certain factors that can affect the performance of your oven and you can try the following troubleshooting tips to try and correct this issue: *Make sure that the heat is not escaping the oven by properly closing the door, checking the gasket for rips or tears and double checking that your racks are not backwards. *Check the position of the pans inside the oven and make sure there is at least 1-2" of separation between pans and sides of the oven cavity. You can learn more about troubleshooting by looking up the article "RANGE & WALL OVEN - OVEN TEMPERATURE IS NOT CORRECT" online. -- There might also be instances in which the oven elements will cycle on and off to maintain the desired temperature you set for the oven. When the oven temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the oven cycles on again to provide heat. The oven will cycle off again once the temperature is higher than the set temperature. -- If you the information above isn't helpful, we strongly recommend scheduling a service appointment. • A:Answer Hello- Thank you for your loyalty to our GE Appliances brand. We are happy to help! JTP10GP--30 - 30 1/8"W x 28 1/8"H x 23 3/4"D The new model is 28 5/8 H x 29 3/4 W x 26 3/4 D. The new model is approximately 1/2 inch larger in height so there may be a need to modify your cutout. We do still have the FIT GUARANTEE if there is any modifications needed, we will reimburse you up to $300.00. Please be sure to take before, during and after photos. • A:Answer Hey there, and thanks for letting us know about this situation. We hate to hear you’ve having an issue with the door not closing; we know how frustrating that must be. Have you checked whether there are any obstructions around or near the door that might be preventing it from closing all the way? Any racks or other objects sticking out could possibly prevent it from closing completely. If there are no obvious obstructions, we do have instructions for both removing and replacing the oven door on page 15 of the Use and Care manual; going through that process may help resolve and/or make clear where the issue is. (The manual can be viewed on our GE website when you look up the model number, go to the product page, and click the 'Owner Support' option under the appliance picture.) If you try that process, please use caution around the gasket. It’s essential for a good seal/oven safety, and care should be taken not to rub, damage or move it. If you’re unable to resolve this door issue, our Service Department is available at 1-800-432-2737; a technician would be glad to examine the door.
