“Are there instructions on installation?? I have an old cabinet installed microwave with an old trim kit. I was told that PEB7226SFSS would be the right replacement. The old trim kit is pretty ugly but simple to install and deinstall - four small external screws. So if I decide later to replace the old trim kit all I would need to do is unscrew the 4 screws to take off the old trim kit. So, does the new trim kit fasten similarly with external screws?”

When I replaced my old trim kit from old GE microwave they no longer made I was able to replace the old trim kit with the recommended one for the new microwave. However, the old trim kit had 4 screws to remove while the new trim kit had approximately 7 to 9 screws, I do not recall exactly. The point being is that the template that came with the new trim kit had a template that I used to align the new screws in the correct location.
