Q: QuestionFor the black cooktop option, what is the material? Customers have noted how easily the stainless steel scratches and bubbles despite low, average use. Is this the same case with the black cooktop as well?

Q: QuestionProduct height is shown as 5-1/2". What is the distance from the counter top to the bottom of the cooktop? How much clearance do I need below the countertop?

• A:Answer Hi there, this is a great question and we're happy to help. To clean the stainless steel surface, use warm sudsy water or a stainless steel cleaner or polish. Always wipe the surface in the direction of the grain. Do not use a steel wool pad as it will scratch the surface. Cleaners with oxalic acid such as Bar Keeper's Friend Soft Cleanser will remove surface rust, tarnish, and small blemishes. Lastly, be sure to use a liquid cleanser free of grit and rub in the direction of the brush lines with a damp, soft sponge. Q: QuestionCan you simmer on all burners, or does only one burner go low enough to simmer?

• A:Answer Hello- This is an excellent question! We are so happy you checked. The right rear burner is 5,000 BTU's and is a precise simmer burner. It protects delicate foods with low, even heating. The other burners are 9,500 BTU's and the right front is 12,000 BTU's. They can all be set to low, but you won't be getting the same results as you would on the right rear burner. We hope this helps! Q: QuestionCan you order replacement knobs or a touch up stainless 'paint'? One of the knobs has a chip in it and shows as a white area. If you can order replacement knobs, how much are they? Thank you very much!
