A:AnswerHi there, and thanks for taking the time to reach out to us about this double-oven range. We certainly appreciate your interest. The Broil feature is available in the lower oven. We regret any inconvenience caused by the upper oven not having this feature; we will certainly send feedback to our Cooking Products Design team. If you have any other questions or concerns, we're always glad to help. Wishing you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
A:AnswerHello CAE,
Great question! We appreciate your interest in GE Appliances, and we'd be happy to assist you with this range. We do apologize for this detail not being included in features. We know how stressful it can be browsing appliances and not knowing every feature. We found that this oven does not come equipped with a temperature probe. There is not a probe manufactured specifically for this model either. This allows the owner to purchase a thermometer or probe of their choice.
We thank you again for your interest in GE Appliances, and we hope this is helpful. If any more questions should arise, please contact us through our website or social media.
Take care!

A:AnswerHi - Thanks for considering GE Model JGBS86SPSS! The Steam cycle helps hydrate food soils so that they are easier to wipe away. To remove any remaining stubborn, baked-on stains, apply a non-abrasive cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend using a sponge or clean cloth. You can also use a mild soak and water or vinegar and water. Do not use oven cleaners, strong liquid cleansers, steel wool, or scouring pads on the interior of the oven. Here's the link to the Use and Care Guide for complete details: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000715-1.pdf - If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to ask, we are also happy to help at GEAppliances.com! A:AnswerUsed the connector hose that came that said for dryer on it since it had the 1/2 inch fittings. Had PGE come and check everything and they said all is well. Dryer hose connector is not an issue. They tested gas pressure along with kicking on water heater at same time. All good.

A:AnswerThis JGBS86SPSS model is only available in a traditional stainless steel finish. We recommend checking out model GGF600AVWW, which comes in a white finish and can be found on the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances
A:AnswerI haven't used it yet, but according to the directions you pour water in an indention on the bottom. It heats up and steams the inside. Theoretically it should work.
