Hi there! We appreciate your question. There is not a special kit you would need to vent this unit externally. Page 3, in the Advance Planning section, of the installation instruction talks about the type and size of ducting that you need to use. Page 6 also offers a diagram and chart for ceiling height that you can refer to. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
