The plastic panel pops right out. There’s a plastic part that sticks out to the right side. I did noticed it’s sometimes hard to pop out when you don’t clean it for a while and all of the gunk gets in there from cooking.

Before replacing your light, we recommend disconnecting the power to your vent hood by flipping your breaker off. To remove the light cover, press the sides with two fingers until the side prongs are released. Lift the light cover and slide it toward you in one motion. To replace the light, be sure the switch is turned off and unscrew the light counterclockwise to unlock the light and pull out. To replace the cover, insert the prong located at the end of the cover into the top opening. Gently push the cover up and press the sides to fit the side prongs into the side openings.
