This range hood makes the stove standout even more and works well thus far

Looks good and was very easy to install. Pretty straight forward. The range hood vent we had before this install was an older version of the exact range vent, so the dimensions were the same. Love the stainless steel look. And the fan is much quieter than the version we had. The only thing is that it didn't come with a power cord, so we had to take the one from our older version and connect to this one, so if someone is adding this to their kitchen and not replacing one they need to buy a power cord kit. Other than that, we love it!!

The light isn’t as bright as I thought it would be and the top of the hood gets hot when the light is on for more than 10 minutes. The owners manual says that for recirculation installs you have to use a charcoal filter and that one is provided with this model but it was not included. Overall, it does the job I guess. Still need to get a filter for it so we’ve only used the fan once or twice but it worked well the few times it was used.

Great for the price. If you keep the light on for too long it gets really hot and you have to avoid touching the top of it. Other than that it is a great one and it does the job.

The hood is slimmer than the one it replaced, It is a standard fit and fit perfectly above the stove; The hood matches the appliances and does not seem to fingerprint smudge heavily. The fan is quiet and the light puts out enough light to illuminate the stove and the kitchen area around the stove. I like this hood as it is a great replacement for the original hood I replaced. The hood does an efficient job of pulling the fumes out of the kitchen.

This range hood looks great over our stove, and the fan is relatively quiet. My only wish is that the light would be a little more warm in tone. I think the light cover is what causes a stark white illumination. Other than that, however, it's was certainly a worthwhile purchase.

Perfect fit for the range. The Samsung hood was too expensive so the saleswoman helped me pick out a less expensive hood and it's a perfect match.

My daughter bought a fancy expensive range hood. Okay does the same exact job ours does. The only diff oh well, she takes longer to clean hers because her vent goes to the ceiling, her husband had a hard and long time putting it together, hers is loud, and people always ask what is that noise.

Looks and performs nice but has super sharp corners. Sliced my finger open (needed stitches) when cleaning under the hood. Would exchange but past the return date. Will buy special gloves when cleaning this bad boy in the future. Be warned…

In upgrading my kitchen I found that the GE range hood was a good fit and replacement for the previous one. Installation was easy and the stainless steel enhanced the other appliances in the kitchen.

I only replaced my old hood because it did not match my new stainless steel appliances. The quality is very poor. Even though it had tape over it, there are scratches that are very noticeable near the light/fan switches. In fact I bought some little magnets to put over them because they were driving me insane. The box says 1 person, 10 minutes. Maybe for a professional but it took my husband and I several hours to install and it was not fun! That is why I did not return it because it was so difficult to install, I decided to just live with the scratches and the poor quality. What happened to the high quality we used to get from GE?

Simple hood and was easy to install. But definitely is easier with 2 people but can be done by yourself.

Sleek looking but hard to clean Smudges always show

Works great for what it is. If you don't need the frills and just functionality, this does the trick.

The box said 10 minutes to install. It took 4 hours.

This range hood is just what my kitchen needed...it looks great!
