“I have a 9 foot ceiling and keep getting different answers as to the duct covers. I was told I would have to purchase an extension kit, part number UXDC72FJDS. However, previous questions on this page, answered by GE state the the unit fits 7-4" to 9".”

• Hi - We genuinely apologize for any confusion we may have inadvertently created regarding the this beautiful vent hood and included duct covers. The duct covers included with the unit can be adjusted for ceilings between 7 3/4" - 9" depending on the distance between the bottom of the hood and the cooktop.
